Jim Ameduri, Managing Director
Jim’s broad background and extensive experience in leading and building companies, understanding the ebb and flow of capital markets, and investing globally help drive the growth of BEP. Prior to establishing his own firm in 1992, Jim worked at Dean Witter Reynolds and First Interstate Bank, NA. Since 1992, he has built and managed a succession of operating businesses globally, and has structured business transactions for partner and affiliates' capital totaling over US $10 billion. Jim earned a BS in Finance from Youngstown State University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He is an Eagle Scout. Jim is Chairman of the Board for Capax World, a nonprofit focused on sustainable solutions to global poverty, is a Director of the Arizona State University Foundation Investment Committee, is a Director of the Arizona Community Foundation Investment Committee, and serves as a mentor and judge for the Columbia University Masters in Technology Management program. He and his wife of 25 years live in Scottsdale, Arizona, and have three children.
Jonathon Vento, Managing Director
to Blue Energy Partners 25 years of private equity, development and project
finance experience. He has built and managed, as a principal, more than 100
projects and operating companies throughout North America, Europe and Asia,
including energy, real estate, technology and manufacturing, totaling in excess
of US $6 billion. Jonathon has utilized structured debt, institutional equity,
mezzanine debt, state & federal grants, public/private partnerships and tax
equity. He has managed combined staffs of over 1,000 people in his prior roles
as president and COO. Jonathon is a member of the
Finance and Investments group of the United Nations Sustainable Energy for All
Initiative, and a board member of Capax World, which serves the poor of the world. In the early 1980s, he attended the University of Michigan, and
graduated from Eastern Michigan University in business/finance. Jonathon and his
wife of 26 years have one grown daughter.
