Jim La Marche
Jim brings to Blue Energy Partners experience with global private equity and venture capital. Previously, Jim was the Managing Director of the Thunderbird Private Equity Center (TPEC) at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, where he directed the school's private equity and venture capital initiatives and was involved in TPEC's expansion into 13 markets around the world. Jim was responsible for working with senior government officials in emerging markets and assisting them in attracting foreign direct investment and private equity. Under Jim's leadership, Thunderbird's private equity center became one of the top five programs in the world.

Jim graduated with a BA in Political Science from Arizona State University, an MA in International Relations from Seton Hall University, and an Executive Leadership and Negotiation Certificate from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Shigeo Kawashima, Director of Land Acquisition and Development
Shigeo was born and raised in Tokyo and graduated from Meiji University, majoring in Economics. After graduation, Shigeo began his career with Tomen Corporation in Steel Trade Department and was responsible for sales of steel materials to the overseas customers from Japanese blast furnace manufacturers. From 1980 to 1985, Shigeo was stationed in Hong Kong and served as General Manager of the Steel Department of the Hong Kong branch, responsible for business development and negotiation of price, delivery and quality of steel products.

From 1985 to 1998, Shigeo was in the Overseas Construction & Development Department of Tomen Corporation, where as General Manger of the department, he was responsible for planning, conducting feasibility studies, and management of debt/equity investments for the overseas development of residences, condominiums, hotels and high-rise office buildings throughout Australia, Guam, Hawaii and the Western United States and Europe. From 1998 to 2013, Shigeo worked at ThyssenKrupp Otto and as Division Manager of the Management Bureau he was responsible for management and recruiting of employees, education, legal documentation, funding and corporate governance.
